Pastor Cathy Daharsh
Pastor Cathy joined Gilbert Lutheran Church in August of 2009 as a recent graduate of Wartburg Theological Seminary. Pastor Cathy and Pastor Tom work together in all the ministries of Gilbert Lutheran. Pastor Cathy has taken a lead role in the areas of worship, baptism, primary education, and youth. Prior to beginning ordained ministry, Pastor Cathy served a congregation in Sheboygan, WI as Director of Youth and Family. She also was an elementary teacher and a high school volleyball coach in Sheboygan.
Pastor Cathy interests include serving on the Advisory Committee for the Gilbert School District. She is also a board member for the Story City Decategorization and Empowerment Committee. She enjoys playing volleyball, running, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Pastor Cathy is married and has two sons.
Pastor Cathy enjoys getting to know people and their stories. She is excited about the many ministry opportunities at Gilbert and the surrounding area. She has a heart for social justice and serving others.
