WORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
SUNDAYS
SCHOOL YEAR: Worship is held at 8:15 and 10:45 AM each Sunday from the Sunday after Labor Day until the Sunday before Memorial Day
SUMMER: Worship is held at 9:30 AM from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
OTHER IMPORTANT SERVICES:
CHRISTMAS EVE
There are three Christmas Eve Communion Candlelight services at 4, 6 & 11 PM.
CHRISTMAS DAY
We will have service on Christmas Day at 9:30 AM.
LENT
All six Lenten Wednesday worship services are at 7:00 PM. Each Lenten worship is preceded by a Lenten meal at 6:00 PM.
MAUNDY THURSDAY COMMUNION/SEDER MEAL
This service rotates between a Maundy Thursday communion service, which is at 7:00 PM, and a Seder Meal, which begins at 6:00 PM – communion is also celebrated at the Seder Meal. The Seder Meal (Passover Observance) is held once every 3 years:
2011- Holy Communion
2012- Seder Meal
2013- Holy Communion
GOOD FRIDAY
The youth mime will be held at 6:30 and 8:30 PM.
EASTER
There are two Easter Day communion services at 7:30 & 9:30 AM.
THANKSGIVING EVE
This worship service is at 7:00 PM the evening before Thanksgiving.
COMMUNION
Communion is offered to all the baptized children of God who believe in Jesus Christ. GLC offers communion classes to children beginning in the 4th grade.
